Meet the Team
The MOR Technology management team consists of successful and experienced entrepreneurs, business managers, engineers, and scientists. The team includes the original inventors of both the corn milling and supercritical technologies, and world-class expertise in process development, engineering, construction, and operations, of both commercial corn mills and supercritical fluid process plants. The management combined has been involved in the design or operation of over 20 commercial process plants around the world. MOR has filed for eight patents on their technology to-date, and their team has a history of receiving and protecting patents.

Mr. Rodger Marentis – President
Mr. Marentis has worked in the field of supercritical fluid technology for over 25 years, developing supercritical fluid (SF) technology processes for over 40 multi-national companies. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in SF technology, and has over a dozen patents and patent applications in the field. He has held technical and commercial development positions in supercritical fluid technology with Union Carbide, Air Products & Chemicals, Pitt-Des Moines, and National Forge Company. Mr. Marentis is a founding member of both the International Society for the Advancement of Supercritical Fluids, and the Joint Association for the Advancement of Supercritical Technology.

Dr. James Ryan - Director of Business and Technology Development
Dr. Ryan has extensive experience in research, technology innovation, product development and business management in the field of supercritical fluids as New Business Development Manager for Supercritical Solutions, LLC for the past four years. Previously, his career included management and research positions in agricultural chemicals, biotechnology, biopesticides and organic crop production. Prior to joining Supercritical Solutions, Dr. Ryan held senior management positions with Rohm and Haas Company, and FMC Corporation where he was responsible for discovery research, new product development, global marketing, business development, licensing and acquisitions. Dr. Ryan has established and managed joint ventures and strategic alliances with multinational companies in Europe, Japan, Korea, India, China, Brazil, and USA.

Mr. Curt Jones – Founding Member
Mr. Jones is a successful businessman, entrepreneur and inventor. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (1981) and a Master of Science (1986) in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University. From 1983 to 1986 he was a lead researcher for Southeastern Illinois College’s Ethanol Production Program, where he led plant operations and training and performed research on what today are still cutting-edge processes, including CO2 utilization, feed by-product improvements, and algae growth research. In 1987, Mr. Jones, while conducting research on freezing techniques for large-scale enzyme and bacteria production utilizing liquid nitrogen, discovered a new way of making ice cream. Dippin’ Dots ice cream is manufactured in three countries, and is sold internationally in over nine countries. Dippin’ Dots currently employees 210 employees at its headquarters in Paducah, KY. Mr. Jones currently owns and manages companies in the ice cream, biofuels, entertainment, and software technology industries. He has been recognized with various entrepreneurial awards. Dippin’ Dots Franchising has been recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as a “Top 500” franchising company.
Mr. Ken DeLine - Founding Member
Mr. DeLine is the CEO and primary stockholder of Semo Milling, LLC, a state-of-the-art food-grade corn mill that started operations in Scott City, MO in June 2007, and which also houses the MOR-Frac™ pilot mill. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration and Finance and a minor in Economics. Mr. Deline is an entrepreneur and business manager who has used his skills in building a host of successful companies, which include: DeLine Box & Display, Inc., a state-of-the-art Litho Laminating facility that is still considered the benchmark of the industry today; Center Partners, LLC, a customer care facility with over 1,500 employees and multiple locations within the Western United States; and Development Solutions Group, LLC which organizes doctors as investors and then develops ambulatory surgical centers in which they have some ownership. Mr. Deline attributes his success to his development and practice of the Integrated Management System™, a how-to model based on the theory of many business leaders of our time.
Mr. Kevin Ulrich – Chairman of the Board
Mr. Ulrich and Mr. Curt Jones together own and manage InnerG, LLC, a founding company of MOR Technology. InnerG, LLC was officially formed in 2005 to develop projects and new technologies in renewable fuels. Aside from his work in the renewable fuels industry, Kevin owns and operates a farm of approximately 2000 acres, and produces cattle, corn, soybeans, wheat, and forage at his life-long home in Grand Chain, IL. Mr. Ulrich is a distinguished member of the national and Illinois agriculture community, and has been involved in the development and implementation of various agriculture and rural development projects with a focus on sustainable practices.

Mr. Dan Claycamp – President
Mr. Claycamp has accumulated over 22 years of experience in nearly all facets of milling from process design, engineering, construction, operations, and management, and has worked for many of the top milling companies, including Quaker Oats, Bunge, and United Maize, operating a wide range of systems and equipment. Mr. Claycamp is also President of Corn Processing Solutions, LLC (CPS), the original company that developed MOR’s fractionation technology. Dan and his partners in CPS, Troy Claycamp and Daniel Fetherston, combined bring over 60 years of experience in the corn milling industry.

Mr. Brad Ulrich - Director of Technologies
Before joining MOR Technology, Mr. Ulrich worked in ethanol project development for MOR Energy, LLC, a proposed ethanol plant in Southern Illinois, where he was in charge of process technology review and selection. Mr. Ulrich graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He previously worked as a software developer and project manager for Ulrich Medical Concepts, a software company that provides full-service software solutions for medical practices. He is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded The Dynamic Market Lab, LLC, a software company that licenses and markets technical analysis stock and futures trading software through Equis International, Inc. and The Reuters Company.
